Kimberly Brown, M.D.
Dr. Kimberly Brown is a gastroenterologist and transplant hepatologist based in Michigan, serving as Associate Medical Director of the Henry Ford Transplant Institute. She earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed her residency and fellowship training in internal medicine and gastroenterology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Dr. Brown is board certified in internal medicine, gastroenterology, and transplant hepatology. In addition to her clinical role, she holds faculty appointments as Professor of Medicine at both Wayne State University and Michigan State University. Her interests include liver transplantation, liver disease, and cirrhosis, and she is actively involved in clinical research to advance therapies for liver conditions. Dr. Brown has been recognized nationally for her contributions to medicine, including the AST Mentoring Award and the Castle Connolly National Top Doctor Award for Clinical Excellence.
